Breaststroke:Arm Recovery蛙泳手臂回復動作

蛙泳手臂回復動作非常重要,雙手內划挺身出水換氣之後,就應迅速將雙手前伸(在水線上下附近,且與水線平行,手肘不可出水),暫停在這裡是一個常見的錯誤,幾乎十個有九個,相信我一點也不誇張 ! 這會阻礙你身體恢復成流線型體位向前滑行,白白浪費了力氣。這是美國蛙泳選手Brendan Hansen在06年比賽中破世界紀錄時的影片,有幾個前方拍攝的鏡頭(0:46, 1:18, 1:40),可以很清楚看到世界級蛙泳選手迅速把雙手前 送時,肩膀聳起幾乎貼到雙耳(聳肩能縮小橫截面積,減少水中前進阻力)。
下次游蛙泳時,手不要在胸前停留,快點往前送出吧!★ 根據 Fina Swimming Rule: SW 7.3,手肘除觸牆前最後一划及轉身時是不能出水的。

比較一下高級蛙泳選手聳肩雙手前送破水的水花,與在平常泳池常見像西瓜掉入水中的水花。其實西瓜指的就是頭,大大一粒頭入水,上下起伏太大會影響前進,就像在不平滑的石子路開車一樣,你希望路越平坦越好,若你把頭和身體拉高卻沒能利用位能轉成向前的動能,你可能因上下起伏太大反而毀了你用力踢腿產生前進力量的延續,不但沒得到位能好處,還分散水平力量,阻礙前進。

★ 如果你core muscles很夠勁,身軀向前拉高,臀部還能挺在水面,能夠好好利用高位位能將其轉成向前的動能,that’s another story which is very good. It all depends on your techniques and fitness level.
